Dr. Shari McKinny
Shari McKinny completed her Bachelors of Science (BSc Hon) in Physiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 1996, and then graduated from the College of Medicine in 2000, also at the U of S. After starting off in general surgery residency at the U of S, she later switched to urology, and completed her residency in Edmonton at the University of Alberta. Shari became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in urology 2007, after which she returned home, and joined Saskatoon Urology Associates.
Shari McKinny is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the U of S. She serves as the director of Lithotripsy within the Saskatoon Health Region.
Shari practices general urology, but has an interest in laparoscopic and endoscopic urology, oncology, and female urology. She is a member of the Canadian Urologic Association, the American Urologic Association, and the Western Section of the American Urologic Association.
When not busy at work, Shari enjoys scuba diving, backcountry hiking, and photography.
